Floor Jansen will perform in the Johan Cruijff ArenA in support of Metallica on Saturday 29 April. She will replace Five Finger Death Punch who unfortunately had to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances.
"The opportunity to play at the Johan Cruijff ArenA in Amsterdam, for 50,000 fans, as a support act for Metallica, it’s a huge honor," says Floor Jansen. "I can't wait to share my music with the fans and to see Metallica perform."
Apart from Floor Jansen, the support lineup for Saturday will also feature Ice Nine Kills. The M72 World Tour sees Metallica playing two nights in every city, with each No Repeat Weekend featuring two completely different setlists and support lineups. On Thursday, April 27th, the supports will be Architects and Mammoth WVH.
Floor Jansen is widely known for her work with Nightwish, but she has also built up an impressive solo career. Floor Jansen recently completed a sold-out club tour in the Netherlands and released her debut solo album, Paragon, which debuted at number two on the Dutch album chart and received rave reviews from fans and critics alike. In addition, she will perform her biggest headlining show ever at the AFAS Live in Amsterdam on December 8.
