Floor Jansen, renowned frontwoman of symphonic metal band Nightwish and successful solo artist, has just announced her very first theater tour, 'Strijdlust' (Fighting Spirit), set to take place across the Netherlands in 2025. The exciting news was revealed during her appearance on the NPO 1 talk show EVA.
'Strijdlust' will see Floor gracing various Dutch theaters, showcasing her powerful voice and impressive stage presence. This announcement follows a series of remarkable achievements, including her performance as the opening act for Metallica at the Johan Cruijff Arena and a sold-out show at AFAS Live in December 2023. Her recent solo album 'Paragon' has not only reinforced her status as an international rock icon but also demonstrated her versatility with personal and emotional songs that resonate with a broad audience.
Life sometimes takes unexpected turns, and in Floor's case, it did so with overwhelming intensity. Faced with a series of challenges both personal and professional, she was presented with a choice: give up or fight on. She chose fighting spirit.
In this new show, Floor will take the audience on an emotional journey through the highs and lows of her recent experiences, using both spoken word and music. This performance serves as a powerful reminder that even in our darkest moments, we can find the strength to persevere and excel.

The 'Strijdlust' tour will visit multiple cities across the Netherlands, including Groningen, Arnhem, Leeuwarden, Utrecht, Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Heerlen, Nijmegen, and Haarlem. Shows will start at 20:00, with ticket prices beginning at €35.84 (including service costs).
